“Growing up in New York, photographer Andrea Wenglowskyj practiced many traditions preserved by the Ukrainian diaspora, from embroidery and folk dancing to Saturday language school and a patriotic youth scouting camp. But she knew Ukraine’s young democracy was not the same country her grandparents fled in the 1940s. So she decided to spend a year in Ukraine interviewing artists and arts organizations, tracking down her mother’s childhood home, and telling stories with her camera that only she could tell. 📺 Watch @andreawenglowskyj 's gorgeous photographic talk for @bfloiscreative and attend to the serendipitous moments that cross your path.” – CreativeMornings
