Artist Residencies in 2023

I am honored to have been awarded two artist residencies in 2023.

In January 2023 I attended the Snowed-In Residency at the Kirkland Arts Center in Clinton, N.Y. as organized by The Garrett on the Green. “The Snowed-In Residency awards week-long solo retreats to a handful of artists each year. Now in partnership with the Kirkland Art Center in Clinton New York, this program was designed to fill a gap between working artists with families, day jobs, or a lack of institutional access and support for their art. While we love traditional long residency programs, we know that not everyone has a month or more of flexible time to create— that’s why our program focuses on week-long solo residencies.”

In addition, I attended the Saltonstall Artist Residency in Ithaca, NY in October 2023 with a cohort of talented artist and writer parents. There, I had access to a darkroom and private nature trails.

The Curated Fridge

Thanks to the curators for selecting my work for two exhibitions of The Curated Fridge recently. “The idea behind this project is to celebrate fine art photography and connect photographers from around the world.” A guest curator selects images from a free submission and the fridge is then curated with amazing photographs to build community. Thank you to all involved. The Curated Fridge is the brainchild of Yorgos Efthymiadis.
